  •  42 yr old avg. guy just trying to move the needle within the constriants I have

  • Picked up running in 2006 as I got into Triathlon - running has really stuck and dreams of getting faster and going further are very satisfying

Down today.  My left knee is swollen and hurting.  Feel's like ITB problems, but the hallmark signs of it aren't there when I run.  I got out the door for a 20 miler yesterday and stopped at 3.  My gait was all wrong and the knee felt like it was folding backwards.

Didn't even get out for a swim as I was thinking the pushing off the wall and per lap bending of the knee wouldn't help the running cause.

Today marks 1 full week with the injury.
